This 46% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cab Franc blend has got some real muscle and Cabernet strength, with black cherry, cassis and plenty of chocolaty oak. It seems to fade a bit in the mid-palate and then regroup, finishing strong and slightly hot, with coffee-flavored tannins. It can certainly benefit from additional bottle age.
