This comes from a one-acre block of Dijon 75 clone Chardonnay; whole-cluster pressed and barrel fermented. Succulent is the word that keeps cropping up as it rollicks across the palate; it's juicy and loaded with a mix of apple, pear and light tropical fruit, especially pineapple. Bright and tangy, this nicely spiced wine continues the consistent quality streak for this winery's Chardonnays, and finishes with a lingering kiss of toast and cinnamon.
