Sourced as previously from the Stillwater Creek vineyard, this is a substantial, mouth-filling Chardonnay. At first tight and aggressively oaky, it softens up with air time and reveals hidden complexity. Lanolin, vanilla custard, lemon meringue and a mix of stone and tropical fruits keep it interesting. This is a Chardonnay that could improve for another five years or more.
