Scagliola 2004 Volo di Farfalle (Moscato d'Asti)

A luminous, golden wine with intense mineral and chalkboard aromatics backed by less intense honey, earthy, musty and fruity smells. Floral notes do not emerge strong on the nose, but they certainly do in the mouth, where sweet honeysuckle lingers on a foamy finish. A true specimen of the Moscato Bianco di Canelli grape from a 15-hectare, family-run vineyard near Calosso. Imported by Vinilandia USA.
