Schiefer & Domaines Kilger 2015 Lutzmannsburg V.V. Blaufränkisch (Burgenland)

Editors' Choice

A certain sumptuousness is already apparent in the fulsome nose that combines ripe, wild blueberry with red, tart cherry while a hint of cinnamon plays around the edges. The palate is juicy and vivid, generous but beautifully toned, supple and well defined in its richness. The velvety tannins surround a wonderfully concentrated but unforced depth. Lovely, elegant, original and delicious. The finish is fresh and dry. Drink now–2035. Anne Krebiehl MW
