This wine features bold, assertive aromas of honeyed pineapple, but there's also a touch of dustiness—not TCA—that seems out of place. Flavors are sweet and reprise the pineapple theme, but there's also a slightly bitter character—posssibly rot. A shame, because this thick, rich, admirably concentrated wine could have been so much better. Joe Czerwinski
