Profoundly aromatic, Schloss Vollrads's 2012 eiswein leaps from the glass with waves of orange, melon and yellow-flower perfume. It's intensely honeyed on the palate, with penetrating tangerine, peach and apricot flavors, spiked with saffron and spice. Unctuously sweet, it finishes long, with honed citrus acidity.
