Schmitt's Kinder 2016 Randersackerer Sonnenstuhl Trocken Spätburgunder (Franken)

Editors' Choice

Dusty mineral tones mingle into perfumed violet and black-cherry aromas in this charming, medium-bodied Pinot Noir. It's a bright, buoyantly cherried sip, but edged by hints of earth and bramble. The finish is marked by fine persistent tannins and fresh sour-cherry acidity. It will improve now through 2030 but it could hold further. Anna Lee C. Iijima
