Aromas of freshly tilled earth, rose petals and black cherries introduce this elegant, voluptuous red. Blackberry and plum flavors are ripe but restrained, anchored by bristling sour-cherry acidity and an edge of minerality. The finish is long and lingering on a kiss of florals and fine dusty tannins. This is a head spinner already but should improve through 2030 and likely further. Anna Lee C. Iijima
