Schnaitmann 2016 Steinwiege Trocken Trollinger (Württemberg)

Editors' Choice

Brilliantly perfumed with notes of fresh raspberry, rose petal and granite, it might be hard to pull the glass away from your nose enough to get a sip of this Trollinger. While light-footed and freshly balanced, it a sexy, sultry red with deeply concentrated black cherry flavors edged by long, lean mineral tones. Tasted in 2020, it's still quite vibrant. Best enjoyed with a light chill now–2024. Anna Lee C. Iijima
