Schramsberg 1998 Cuvée de Pinot Brut Rosé (Napa County)

The pale-copper color adds a level of elegance not usually found in bold, brash California. This sparkler's aromas are deep and meaty, with brine and soy accents. Turns earthier on the palate, but also folds in strawberry and herb flavors, ending with a flourish of anise. Joe Czerwinski
