Schubert 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon (Hawke's Bay)

This is likely to be a controversial wine, as some folks will no doubt love its lavish levels of sweet, vanilla-laced oak while others will despise that same feature. The color is vibrant purple, and there is substantial black cherry fruit, but it all ends up somewhat jumbled and disconnected. Joe Czerwinski
