This impressive effort blends Hawke's Bay and Martinborough fruit to deliver enticing aromas of cracked black pepper, licorice and blackberries. Lushly fruity on the palate, with hints of vanilla adding an elegant note. Has some tannins to lose; try from 2005–2010.
