Schug 2001 Chardonnay (Carneros)

Crisper and brighter than Schug's Sonoma Valley bottling, with more upfront acids, its flavors veer more toward citrus fruits, although there are touches of exotic nectarine and guava. The creamy richness comes from oak and lees. Feels long and rich in the mouth; a wine to savor and enjoy.
