Schug 2008 Heritage Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma Valley)

A rich, ripe Cabernet, forward in blackberry and cherry jam flavors. A hint of dried herb grounds it and provides a level of complexity, as does a touch of smoky cedar from oak barrel aging. It's not an ager, but it is fancy and delicious now.
