Schwarz Wine Company 2010 Nitschke Block Shiraz (Barossa Valley)

From the Bethany subregion, this is a medium- to full-bodied, creamy-textured Shiraz. Cracked pepper accents raspberry and cocoa notes, and while some minty-eucalyptus notes are apparent, they're never dominant. Long and lush on the finish, this seductive wine will probably offer its best between now and 2020. Joe Czerwinski
