Scott's Selection Longmorn-Glenlivet 1968 Speyside Single Malt Whisky

The first inhalations detect dense aromas of black tea leaves, lead pencil, minerals, and straw; the aroma deepens to include concentrated scents of candle wax, green olives, and linseed oil. Palate entry displays deep flavor notes of caraway, bacon fat, matchstick; at midpalate, the bacon fat/oil element turns creamy, vanilla-like, rancio-like, and nutty. Finishes luxuriously sweet, oaky/vanilla-like, caramel-like, and honeyed. P.P.
