Crisp apple and nectarine aromas are warmed up by hints of hazelnut and ripe melon on the nose of this bottling from a vineyard in the hilly community of Prunedale overlooking Highway 101. There are touches of almond, peach and butter to the palate, but a sharp and fresh acidity enlivens the sip through the finish. Matt Kettmann
