Sequel 2016 Syrah (Columbia Valley (WA))

Yakima Valley fruit (Boushey and Den Hoed Grandview) make up the backbone of this wine, which is rounded out by Bacchus, The Benches and Dionysus vineyards. The aromas present notes of char, dark roasted coffee bean, boysenberry, blackberry and a whiff of orange peel. Full-bodied fruit flavors follow, painting broadly around the edges and more lightly in the middle. Sean P. Sullivan
