Seresin 2014 Raupo Creek Single Vineyard Pinot Noir (Marlborough)

Editors' Choice

This single-vineyard wine from well respected biodynamic producer Seresin (which has recently been majorly downsized, so relish these older vintages while they're still here) from the clay slopes of Marlborough's Omaka Valley, is hard not to fall head over heels for. It fills the nose with a perfume of ripe cherries, florals, cocktails bitters and savory spices. But it shines most brightly on the palate, which is juicy, bright and harmonious, with precise tannins. A tightrope walk between sweet and savory that makes another sip all too easy. Drink now–2028.
