Seven Hills makes this Merlot from diverse Columbia valley vineyards, and it's a youthful, tart mouthful of cassis cranberry and cherry fruit. “Substantial” (says the winemaker) amounts of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are included in the blend. Good, solid effort.
