Seven Hills 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley (WA))

Cellar Selection

Still young, steely and firm, but classy and deep. This has the best attributes of the '05 and '06 Columbia Valley Cabs from Seven Hills—ripe and polished black fruits, firm tannins, a supple finish with a veneer of smoke and licorice. In other words, this is a complete, complex and intriguing Bordeaux blend, with plenty of aging potential. Paul Gregutt
