Sextant 2016 Octant Estate Grown Red (El Pomar District)

Fresh and juicy aromas of boysenberry and black plum meet with a wet slate minerality on the nose of this blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 9% Malbec and 8% Cabernet Franc. The palate is framed by a firm structure and delivers flavors of black plum jam, toasted oak and coffee that drive into the lingering finish. Matt Kettmann
