Beautifully integrated notes of blackberry, black plum, boysenberry, toasted oak wood, chocolate, damp earth, fennel, clove and nutmeg saturate the senses. The fruit has a voluptuousness as well as a vivacity enhanced by elevated acidity. Tannins are soft and mature, structurally supporting the wine without ever overwhelming the palate. This red blend is easily enjoyable now but can also improve with age. Stacy Briscoe
