Shelburne 2015 Marquette (Vermont)

Smoky roast beef aromas mingle with peppercorns and black cherries on the foxy nose. The palate shows ripe cherry and cranberry, alongside cedar, pepper and sweet baking spices. The tannins provide an appealing grip, with balanced acidity and good structure. The finish kicks off on peppery spice then softens into raspberries. Fiona Adams
