For the second year in a row Sheldon has turned out a lovely, spicy, highly unusual Graciano from Lodi's diverse Ripken Vineyard. Give it time in the glass and be rewarded with peppery spice, bright almost-sour red fruit (pomegranate and cranberry, mostly). This wine is a master class in balance—mild in alcohol yet bursting in flavor, acidity and personality.
