87pointsSheldrake Point 2004 Bunch Select Riesling (Finger Lakes)

Apple, honey and flowers on the nose are followed by flavors of baked apple and a raciness that maintains a fine balance between dry and sweet. There are also flashes of lemon here, which keeps the wine clean and exuberant in character. A very good wine that has enough flavor to be enjoyed alone, but will be excellent when paired with seafood. Susan Kostrzewa
