Sheldrake Point 2007 Dry Rosé (Finger Lakes)

One of the great things about rosés is their color, and this is one of the prettiest around, with its lovely salmon hue. The nose is charming, remniscent of a summer fruit soup. The one-dimensional palate offers up faint strawberry flavors and finishes quite short. Bring along to a picnic to pair with fried chicken.
