Having tasted and approved of many Chakana wines in recent years, I find this one way off the charts in the wrong direction. It's charred beyond repair, with gigantic berry and black coffee flavors that simply aren't that appealing. And it gets tougher and more sticky with airing. Note to winemaker: Back off the extraction and wood treatment.
