This wine is still very much in its youth. Currently the butterscotch and vanilla notes jut out a little on the nose, but there's plenty of ripe fruit in the form of melon and pineapple to back it up, as well as a herbal, white pepper character. The oak gets a little chunky again on the palate, particularly on the finish, but with citrusy, mouthpuckering acidity balanced by fruit weight, this shows promise for a bright future. Drink now–2025.
