Pecchenino 2005 San Luigi (Dolcetto di Dogliani)

The Pecchenino began with promising dark berry fruit aromas, mixed with black pepper. Rich and fruit forward, with soft tannins, and good structure. There was, however, a slight volatility to the wine which was more pronounced on the palate. The fruit still dominated, but the wine faded to a short finish.
