Angel Flower is the winery's warmest site, with more clay and less limestone. The extremely low-yielding 2018 vintage proved tough on the Pinots so while this isn't the thing of beauty it normally is, there's still a lot to like here. It's more open than the Earth Smoke, with lovely wild red berry, cinnamon, cloves and dried flower aromas. The palate is feathery light in feel, with lifted acidity, a slippery texture and soft, spicy tannins.
