Nottingham Cellars' blend of Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah, all from the 2009, 2010 and 2011 vintages, is an interesting experiment in blending and makes for a fine, earthy, brooding wine. With so much chewy cranberry-dominated flavor, this is a good food wine, especially for early spring fare.
