Among all the Sangiovese from Tuscany, this blend of Cabernet Franc, Cab Sauvignon and Merlot seems a bit out of place. It has all the requisite leafy, earthy, spicy characteristics that come courtesy of Cab Franc, but it is also extremely light and airy in the body. To this reviewer it didn't sing, but fans of dry, spicy reds, like Chinon from France, might find more in it. —M.S.
