The idea of this wine really intrigues me—a Rhone blend from Yarra, comprised of nearly three-quarters Marsanne, 5% Roussanne and the balance Viognier. It's floral and aromatic on the nose, with whiffs even of dime-store bubble gum. The palate has a slight viscous oiliness, but the flavors—some floral notes, maybe some green grapes—are light and innocuous. If the flavors were as titillating as the aromas, and the whole package amped up a notch in intensity, I wouldn't be able to put this wine down.
