At one time, Lemberger (also known as Blaufrankisch) was touted as the Zinfandel of Washington. Now that Washington actually makes Zinfandel, not to mention Syrah, poor old Lem has lost a bit of lustre. Nonetheless Kiona's was, and is, one of the best. Soft, grapy, fruity, simple and scrumptious.
