This is the first offering of this variety from the valley, from a recently planted vineyard by the SeVein project. Aged 44 months in a combination of amphorae and new and neutral French oak, it offers tightly wound aromas of blackberries, tar, dark plums, minerals and spices. Though high in acid, it's full of firmly structured dark fruit flavors. It needs some food alongside it as well as time in bottle to be properly appreciated, but the stuffing is there.
