The winery's 2003 Syrah was sourced from Boushey, but in 2004 they switched to Destiny Ridge and Dineen. This is an improvement, perhaps vintage-related, but it shows dark, densely scented black fruits and aromatic hints of leather, cedar and chocolate. It's quite youthful and tangy, with tart, citrusy, racy flavors, and will most certainly continue to add muscle and soften up with a few more years of bottle time.
