Talbott 2004 Sleepy Hollow Chardonnay (Santa Lucia Highlands)

. Doesn't seem to have the elegant Burgundian quality of past vintages, and the main culprit is the flavor of apricot jam, which makes the wine a little heavy and suggests overripe fruit. Apricots are delicious, of course, but you don't want too much of that in a Chardonnay.
