Shenandoah 1999 Sangiovese (Amador County)

Smells darkly fruity, with plum and earth aromas, but turns watery and thin in the mouth. The middle palate is tannic, and the rough finish is hot. If you must drink it, try with oily, buttery, and meaty-fatty foods to soften it up.
