Lovely texture, a smooth but slightly astringent tannic base, good acid and a hint of citrus that lifts and refreshes. It doesn't seem to have the complexity or the sheer power of the 2002 L'Orage, but it's well made and appealing. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, and blueberry carry it.
