A bouquet with aromas of tomato leaf and spicy berry is brought down a notch by burnt, macerated leafy notes. The palate is full but low on structure and grip. Round, earthy, candied flavors are rooty and suggest tree bark, while the finish is a bit syrupy. This is 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Syrah and 20% Carmenère.
