The bouquet offers raspberry and strawberry fruit, which is followed by a meaty mouthful of plum, coffee and bitter chocolate. The finish is defined by mocha, and the feel is derived from firm tannins. This wine feels warm, arguably borderline hot. But that's probably more a result of youth than anything else.
