Sierra Cantabria 2003 Organza White (Rioja)

A blend of Viura and Malvasia that's been heavily fortified with oak. In between the folds of wood you'll find butter, cream and resin, but not a ton of expression. Balanced and creamy, but devoid of the pop and excitement one might hope for. Imported by Jorge Ordoñez/Fine Estates from Spain. Michael Schachner
