Sierra Cantabria 2007 Organza White (Rioja)

Vanilla and a lot of oak blend with baked apple on the nose, while the palate is grabby and resiny, with drawn, oak-heavy flavors of baked apple and vanilla. For a winery that rarely misses with its red wines, this is one that's o.k. but probably not worth the money. Michael Schachner
