A little scratchy on the nose, but otherwise it exudes pure aromas of cassis and raspberry. The palate is juicy, racy and snappy but full and structured, while the flavors of raspberry, plum and blackberry get sweetness in the form of coconut and vanilla-infused coffee. Less soft and bodied than previous vintages but a big winner nonetheless.
