This Malbec is black as night, with shoe polish, charred oak and black-fruit aromas. The palate is borderline syrupy, with ripe, heavily charred flavors of blackened berry, vanilla and mint. On the finish, it's weighty and peppery tasting, with heat. Michael Schachner
