Silvan Ridge 2004 Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This clean, light, fruity wine might be taken for an inexpensive, generic Pinot from California. Sweet, simple candy flavors disappear quickly into a dilute middle palate. The notes say 100% French oak, but I could find no trace of it in the finish. Paul Gregutt
