Silver 2013 Cabernet Franc (Santa Barbara County)

Dried carnations, tangy red fruit and a fruit-punch-like kick show on the nose of this bottling, which includes 14% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. The palate is complex with candied cherry, tobacco leaf and juniper, feeling lighter weight but zesty on the palate. Matt Kettmann
