Silverado 2001 Chardonnay (Napa Valley)

Kind of tart and lean, with citrus flavors just nudging into green apples. Oak adds considerable richness and viscosity, and most of the barrels underwent malolactic fermentation, but it's still an angular Chardonnay. The finish is lemony.
